FIA World Endurance Championship

The World Championship is the pinnacle of endurance racing. It was created in 2012 and it is undergoing rapid development while keeping the true Le Mans Spirit. The 2016 championship calendar comprises nine rounds visiting the most beautiful circuits on four continents for 6-hour races, and its blue riband event is the Le Mans 24 Hours.

While LM P1 is the top category, the LM P2 field is particularly well subscribed leading to hotly-contested races. Three Ligier JS P2s will run the full 2016 season.
